Day 1: Living Sacrifice - Our Reasonable Service
Scripture Focus: Romans 12:1, John 15:13.
Reflection Questions:
What does it mean to present your body as a living sacrifice?
How does understanding Jesus' sacrifice impact your desire to serve others?
Action Step: Spend time reflecting on what it looks like for you to present yourself as a living sacrifice. Offer a specific area of your life to God today as a form of worship.
Day 2: Love as the Foundation of Service
Scripture Focus: Leviticus 19:8, 1 John 4:19.
Reflection Questions:
How does loving yourself impact your ability to serve others?
What are some ways you can show yourself love while also serving others?
Action Step: Reflect on how you view yourself. Spend time in prayer, asking God to help you embrace His love for you so you can serve from a place of security.
Day 3: The Power of Forgiveness in Service
Scripture Focus: Matthew 6:14-15, Ephesians 4:32.
Reflection Questions:
How does forgiveness affect your ability to serve others?
Are there any areas where unforgiveness is holding you back from serving?
Action Step: Identify one person or situation where you need to forgive. Ask God for the strength to let go of bitterness so you can serve freely.
Day 4: Serving with Obedience
Scripture Focus: Luke 22:42, John 14:15.
Reflection Questions:
How does obedience play a role in your service to others?
In what areas do you struggle to serve obediently, and how can you align your heart with God’s will?
Action Step: Choose one area of service today to approach with obedience, trusting that your actions honor God.
Day 5: Service as an Act of Love
Scripture Focus: Romans 12:9-12, 1 Corinthians 13:1-3.
Reflection Questions:
How does sincere love impact the way we serve?
How can we serve others in a way that honors God and reflects His love?
Action Step: Choose one person you can serve today. Do so with a heart full of love, knowing that your actions reflect God’s love to them.
